PREPARING FOR 2027 CLASS

PREP ASSIGNMENT
In the weeks leading up to the start of class, spend some time with these three advance assignments. This will prepare the receptivity of thought for what will begin in earnest on the first day of class.

CLASSROOM
Class meets at Dave’s office or Seventeenth Church. Over the course of the twelve days students study the 24 questions that comprise “Recapitulation” in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
First Day: Class starts at 9 am.

Park 1 garage across from the church at 57 East Wacker Place.
BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
CTA: Seventeenth Church is conveniently located within two blocks of the State/Lake station on the Brown, Green, Orange, Pink, and Purple train lines. CTA Maps & Info. [CTA ‘L’ Train Regular Fare is $2.25, CTA Bus Regular Fare is $2.]
FROM AIRPORTS: O’Hare and Midway Airports are approximately one hour to our meeting location. From Midway take the CTA Orange Line to State/Lake station – five block walk to meeting location. From O’Hare take the CTA Blue Line to Clark/Lake station – 2 block walk to meeting location.
FROM UNION TRAIN STATION: Amtrak and Metra lines arrive and depart from Union Station. Walking to the meeting location will take approximately 40 minutes. The CTA Buses and ‘L’ Trains that come near our meeting location are about a 15 minutes walk from the station. Unless you are a hearty walker you may find it more convenient to grab an Uber, Lyft, or cab ride. Union Station Maps & Info.
UBER/LYFT/CAB: All these public car services are available in Chicago and can pick up at the airports, Union train station or CTA stations. They can also pick you up at Seventeenth Church after the meeting.
